Instructor - skills training (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Rook Learning Group is an education provider in Detroit serving students and families, and we need an Instructor to lead our skills training. Families are partners. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about school calendars. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
