Instructor - skills training (Des Moines, IA)

Greenridge Hollow Care Services supports families and individuals in Des Moines with personal care and coordination, and we need an Instructor to lead our skills training. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about caregiver training. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in caregiver training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
