Instructor - skills training (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Ember Staffing and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be skills training. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about retention. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in retention. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
