Instructor - skills training (Chicago, IL)

Amberfield Drift Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Chicago, and we need an Instructor to lead our skills training. You would join a small organisation of about 121 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about test reports. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
