Instructor - skills training (Charlotte, NC)

Westbrook Lantern Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Charlotte, and we need an Instructor to lead our skills training. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about attendance records. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
