Instructor - skills training (Boston, MA)

Summit Ridge Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Boston area, and we need an Instructor to lead our skills training. Families are partners. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about school calendars. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in school calendars. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
