Instructor - skills training (Birmingham, AL)

Cedar Haven Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Birmingham. We are hiring an Instructor to take on skills training. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
