Instructor - skills training (Austin, TX)

Fernwood Meridian Health Group is looking for an Instructor. The job centres on skills training for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 120 people based in Austin. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about patient education. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in patient education. • Teaching credential or training certificate.
