Instructor - skills training (Anchorage, AK)

Ironwood West Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Anchorage, and we need an Instructor to lead our skills training. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about licensing. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in licensing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
