Instructor - skills training (Anchorage, AK)

Ironwood River Staffing is looking for an Instructor. The job centres on skills training for onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about onboarding. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
