Instructor - onboarding programmes (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Pine Staffing is a Virginia Beach staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring an Instructor to take on onboarding programmes. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about temp assignments. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in temp assignments. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
