Instructor - onboarding programmes (remote)

Highbridge Glen Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Des Moines, and we need an Instructor to lead our onboarding programmes. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about certifications. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in certifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
