Instructor - onboarding programmes (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Collective is looking for an Instructor. The job centres on onboarding programmes for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about patient education. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in patient education. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
