Instructor - onboarding programmes (Philadelphia, PA)

Bright Haven Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Philadelphia area. We are hiring an Instructor to take on onboarding programmes. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about school calendars. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
