Instructor - onboarding programmes (Des Moines, IA)

Greenridge Iron Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Des Moines. We are hiring an Instructor to take on onboarding programmes. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about tuition and subsidies. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
