Instructor - certification prep (Toledo, OH)

Northwind Cedar Care Services provides in-home and community support in Toledo. We are hiring an Instructor to take on certification prep. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about caregiver training. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in caregiver training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
