Instructor - certification prep (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Field Staffing connects candidates and employers across the San Jose region, and we need an Instructor to lead our certification prep. You would join a large organisation of about 752 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about timekeeping. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in timekeeping. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
