Instructor - certification prep (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Ashton Health provides primary and specialty care in Reno. We are hiring an Instructor to take on certification prep. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about patient education. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in patient education. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
