Instructor - certification prep (remote)

Ironwood Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Houston area, and we need an Instructor to lead our certification prep. You would join a large organisation of about 669 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about attendance records. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in attendance records. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
