Instructor - certification prep (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Amber Early Learning and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be certification prep. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about tuition and subsidies. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in tuition and subsidies. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
