Instructor - certification prep (remote)

Harborlight Timber Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Richmond. We are hiring an Instructor to take on certification prep. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about tuition and subsidies. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in tuition and subsidies. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
