Instructor - certification prep (remote)

Ironwood Sable Early Learning runs childcare centres in Memphis caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need an Instructor to lead our certification prep. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about classroom supplies. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
