Instructor - certification prep (remote)

Fernwood Sable Staffing is looking for an Instructor. The job centres on certification prep for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about temp assignments. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in temp assignments. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
