Instructor - certification prep (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Rowan Inspection Services and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be certification prep. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about field inspections. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
