Instructor - certification prep (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Cedar Inspection Services and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be certification prep. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about scheduling. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in scheduling. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
