Instructor - certification prep (Houston, TX)

Fernwood Cobalt Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Houston. We are hiring an Instructor to take on certification prep. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about enrolment. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
