Instructor - certification prep (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Lumen Union Inspection Services and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be certification prep. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about certifications. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in certifications. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
