Instructor - certification prep (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Haven Early Learning and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be certification prep. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about tuition and subsidies. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in tuition and subsidies. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
