Instructor - certification prep (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Redstone Wilder Early Learning and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be certification prep. You would join a large organisation of about 242 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about licensing records. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in licensing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
