Instructor - certification prep (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Redstone Umber Inspection Services and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be certification prep. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about certifications. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
