Instructor - certification prep (Des Moines, IA)

Harborlight West Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Des Moines. We are hiring an Instructor to take on certification prep. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about client sites. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in client sites. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
