Instructor - certification prep (Columbus, OH)

Summit Union Care Services provides in-home and community support in Columbus. We are hiring an Instructor to take on certification prep. You would join a small organisation of about 143 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about caregiver training. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in caregiver training. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
