Instructor - certification prep (Boston, MA)

Ironwood Summit Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Boston area, and we need an Instructor to lead our certification prep. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about attendance records. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in attendance records. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
