Instructor - certification prep (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Glen Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Birmingham, and we need an Instructor to lead our certification prep. You would join a small organisation of about 165 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about field inspections. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in field inspections. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
