Instructor - adult education (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind Ridge Early Learning and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. You would join a large organisation of about 297 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about tuition and subsidies. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in tuition and subsidies. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
