Instructor - adult education (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Summit Learning Group and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. You would join a large organisation of about 437 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about enrolment. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
