Instructor - adult education (Spokane, WA)

Summit Union Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Spokane. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about referrals. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
