Instructor - adult education (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Bright Union Health and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. You would join a large organisation of about 354 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about patient scheduling. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in patient scheduling. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
