Instructor - adult education (San Antonio, TX)

Ironwood Oak Care Services supports families and individuals in San Antonio with personal care and coordination, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about care plans. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in care plans. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
