Instructor - adult education (Sacramento, CA)

Amberfield Summit Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Sacramento. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about learning materials. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in learning materials. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
