Instructor - adult education (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood North Learning Group Partners and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. Families are partners. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about student accounts. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in student accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
