Instructor - adult education (Richmond, VA)

Bright Pike Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Richmond area. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about attendance records. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
