Instructor - adult education (Reno, NV)

Silverline Pike Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Reno. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Reno. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about learning materials. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
