Instructor - adult education (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Summit Learning Group and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about attendance records. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in attendance records. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
