Instructor - adult education (Reno, NV)

Northwind Summit Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Reno, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about classroom supplies. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in classroom supplies. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
