Instructor - adult education (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Lantern Learning Group and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about attendance records. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
