Instructor - adult education (remote)

Harborlight West Care Services supports families and individuals in Chicago with personal care and coordination. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about care plans. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in care plans. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
