Instructor - adult education (remote)

Redstone Birch Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Reno, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in family communication. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
