Instructor - adult education (remote)

Fernwood North Early Learning Partners is looking for an Instructor. The job centres on adult education for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 384 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
