Instructor - adult education (remote)

Ironwood Maple Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around San Diego, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about supplier deliveries. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
